Heidi St. John has been married to her husband Jay since 1989. They have seven children ages 1 to 20 and have homeschooled all the way through high school. A favorite conference speaker, Heidi approaches homeschooling with humor and grace at events all across North America.  Her passion to encourage homeschool moms and set them free to be who God has created them to be will bless and encourage you.
 

Short Bio for Jay St. John

Jay has spent most of his life in full-time ministry. As a worship pastor, he has a passion for leading God’s people before the Throne in worship. His years of experience in leadership have provided the foundation for First Class Homeschool Ministries, a parachurch ministry that helps parents start Bible-based homeschool co-ops that teach God’s word each week as part of a 20 week supplemental program.

The St. Johns travel and speak together throughout the year, encouraging couples in their marriages and reminding them of the importance of nurturing relationships through the homeschool years.

Heidi is the author of "The Busy Homeschool Mom's Guide to Romance: Nurturing Your Marriage Through the Homeschool Years". Her second book, "The Busy Homeschool Mom's Guide to Daylight", released early in 2012.  She is the creator of a new journal for moms called “Words Along the Way: A Mother’s Journal” which emphasizes the joys of journaling through the homeschool years.

Jay and Heidi are also the founders and executive directors of First Class Homeschool Ministries, a parachurch organization dedicated to helping churches start parent-led, Bible-focused homeschool cooperatives that focus on “the things of first importance” (1 Cor 15:3).  First Class has been in operation since 2000 and has over 40 locations across North America.
